Katie’s interest in financial planning comes from personal experience. After facing financial challenges of her own and watching her family go through difficult times following the loss of her mother, she realized how important it is to have a plan in place. Today, she enjoys helping others avoid those same struggles by providing guidance, education, and long-term planning strategies.
Before joining Wise Financial, Katie built a diverse professional background that strengthened her ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Her experience includes working in the financial services industry, serving as a special needs paraprofessional within the school system, and supporting clients in a law office environment. These roles helped develop the empathy, patience, and communication skills that continue to define her client-centered approach today.
Katie holds an Associate of Arts degree and is a licensed insurance professional. She believes trust is earned through honest conversations, genuine connection, and taking the time to understand each person’s unique situation.
When she’s not working with clients, Katie enjoys spending time with her family, riding horses, and supporting her son’s rodeo activities. Growing up around horses and ranching taught her the value of hard work, responsibility, and helping others. She is also active in her church and community, volunteering her time and supporting local programs that serve children and families.
